We know that visiting a church for the first time can be an anxious experience, so we want to put you at ease.

What can I expect?

Please know that we will be very glad to have you with us, but we don't want you to feel pressured or overwhelmed. We won't ask you to give money or sign up for a committee. We don't care if you to know when to sit, stand, or kneel. Your presence itself is a gift to us.

We will do our best to make you feel welcome; but we will also try to respect your personal space and let you participate in whatever way is comfortable for you. If you get lost at any point in the service, simply ask one of us for help, and we will happily assist you.

What happens next?

Our priest, Fr. Ethan, and others will greet you during your visit and invite you to eat and drink with us after the service. Fr. Ethan would also be delighted to meet with you another time over coffee or lunch to get to know you and learn more about what brought you to St. Helena's/Santa Elena.

If you are interested in learning more about our church, then please be sure to give us your contact information before you leave. We hope you enjoy your visit!
